Oiling The Grate

After cleaning the grate the next thing you should do is oil the grate which helps prevent your food from sticking when cooking. Dip a wadded paper towel in some oil, and using tongs, wipe the oil evenly across the grate.

Scrub Burner

To prevent your BBQ from smoking while cooking, always make sure to scrub the burner and the burner cover with a scrub brush. The burner holes should also be cleaned off.

Rinse the exterior of the grill with warm water to remove any leftover debris or grill cleaner. The longer you go between cleaning it, the longer it will take to clean.
