Tips To Keeping Your Beauty Products Organized!

A collection of anything can be difficult to organize, but maintaining a stockpile of beauty products can be especially challenging. You might have dozens of different types of mascara, moisturizers, bronzers, eyeshadows and eyeliners that are all in a drawer. Or you could be an owner of a beauty salon and have hundreds of samples lying around and are using a cheap storage container rental. Whatever the case may be, there will be a time when you are in a rush and need to get to a specific product right away. Here are some organizational and self storage tips to help you keep all your beauty products ready to access at a moment's notice.

Before you can start organizing all of your lotions and powders, you need to thoroughly clean out your collection. Go through your makeup bag, medicine cabinet, extra purses, weekend bags and any other place you might have stashed some beauty products. Throw any product that smells or has an off-putting look to it in the trash. As a rule of thumb, any product that hasn't been used in the last six months should be thrown away.

The next step to an organized collection of beauty products is separation. You should keep the cosmetics you use on a daily basis together. Consider placing them in a container that is easy to access like a small basket or tray. This allows you to skip the hassle of rifling through your entire stockpile to find your everyday products. Think about dividing the rest of your collection by category - lipstick, shadows, powders and so on. Store each category in a container that fits on a shelf or in a drawer. You have plenty of options when it comes to containers. Your best choice is a clear plastic chest with removable drawers. You can use the extra drawers as trays while applying your makeup.
