Tips On How To Throw A Great New Year's Eve Party!

New Year's Eve is a great time for you to get together with your friends and family for one final party and bring in the New Year. Setting one up can be tough, though, especially with limited space. So you're going to have to do some planning. You can host a great party by using some of these tips.

Space

Depending on how many guests you invite over, you might have to move some furniture around to make your house a bit more accommodating. Consider sliding tables and couches over to the walls to create a wide dance floor or for a New Year's Eve group game. If you still need more space, find a storage container rental you can use for a few days.

Food

You probably won't have time to cook for guests when you're having so much fun at the party. Ask your guests to bring some finger food - enough to last at least two to four hours - that people can munch on while waiting for the ball to drop. Also consider calling ahead to a few local restaurants to see if they deliver. Once again, finger food is probably your best option, unless you want your guests to enjoy a full-sized meal. In that case, order a few days early or start cooking well ahead of time.

Liquor

What's a New Year's Eve party without a few libations? Your friends and family probably already had something to eat earlier in the night and would like to celebrate till the New Year. Keep a good amount of booze stocked and make sure there are a few different options available. A couple bottles of whiskey and vodka for martinis is a good place to start. Make sure you have some strong craft beers for your hipster friends and a couple bottles of wine to top it all off.
